The new Rework operators introduce an essential process mining measure that helps identify inefficiencies caused by repeated or redundant activities within business processes. It detects loops, repeated tasks, and re-approvals. Users can analyze rework through the operators. This enables faster discovery of process inefficiencies and supports continuous improvement with actionable insights.

Process Mining Experience Copying between analyses across projects

Effortlessly copy components and custom apps between analyses within the same project or project using the same dataset to accelerate analysis building.

HTTP extraction shows raw response if response cannot be parsed

When an HTTP response can’t be parsed as JSON, the HTTP extraction now displays the raw data in the response view. This offers Engineers full visibility and control over data extraction.

HTTP extraction supports new pagination method

An additional pagination method, where the response contains a token to be added as query parameter for the next page was added to the HTTP extraction, thus supporting e.g. the Jira search/jql endpoint.

Process Mining Experience Enhancement to CSV upload

The CSV upload process has been improved based on customer feedback. Users can now propagate a date pattern across all date columns, use additional pre-defined timestamp formats, override auto-detected column types as text, and benefit from a clearer reload flow for handling parsing errors.

Upload multiple CSV files simultaneously

Users can now select and upload multiple CSV files at once. This enhancement simplifies batch uploads and streamlines the CSV import process.

2026.3 Process Mining Extended app & charting options Radial gauge component

KPIs can now be visualized in a dynamic way with the new Radial Gauge component. It highlights performance indicators with clear thresholds, intuitive color ranges, and a visually impactful design.

2026.3 Automation - Process Workflows & Process Governance Lifecycle Management of ARIS Documents Allow for each loops

Workflow designers need a way to execute the same steps across many ARIS objects without manual repetition. ARIS Flows can iterate over a set of models or metadata (e.g., all items in a folder), enforce conditional stop rules (such as halting on a rejection), and return aggregated outcomes for transparency and reporting, reducing effort and minimizing compliance gaps.

Document specific actions (Version, CRUD for supported documents, get Link, etc.)

Users executing a workflow need to create, retrieve, update, and share documents directly within the process step—without switching tools or relying on manual handoffs. In ARIS Flows, they can handle end-to-end document operations (e.g., upload, read/write, versioning, link sharing, and metadata management) as governed workflow actions, ensuring traceability, reduced cycle time, and audit-ready compliance.

Document Support for Forms

Forms can now help to uload and maintain documents and document objects. This improves data quality, reduces back-and-forth corrections, and helps you consistently enforce your rules.

Document Support for Mails

Mails can now send documents to give users the ability to link to existing documents in ARIS or send them directly to stakeholders.

Document Trigger

When a user publishes a new dokument (e.g. a SOP) version or updates critical metadata in ARIS ADS, they need the related governance and approval workflow to start. ARIS Flows can be triggered automatically on document and metadata changes, launching the right versioning and approval path with full document context while remaining reliable under peak load.

Starterpanel in ADS (Repo/Portal)

With the new Document Triggers, users can now start a Flow directly from documents in ADS and from stakeholder documents in ARIS. This enables document maintenance and allows documents to be used as the Flow’s start context, including relevant metadata, from both ADS and the ARIS Portal—for example, to run dedicated governance workflows on stakeholder documents.

2026.4 Process Mining Extended app & charting options Heatmap table component

The Heat Map component visualizes relationships across multiple dimensions using color intensity to represent value magnitude, enabling fast comparison at each intersection. This makes patterns, hotspots, clusters, and anomalies immediately visible in a table‑like view, reducing the need to scan raw numbers.

OCPM - Architecture and data pipeline readiness Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM) (Controlled Availability)

Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM) goes beyond single-case analysis by revealing how multiple business objects—such as orders, order items, invoices, and shipments—interact across end-to-end processes. It captures object lifecycles and dependencies to provide a holistic, real-world view of complex operations that traditional process mining cannot uncover. This enables deeper insights into process behavior, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies driven by cross-object interactions.

2026.4 Design Core Use-Cases & Modeling (BPA) AI Companion Model Generation - Conversational model generation in draft mode AI Companion Model Generation - Conversational model generation to generate and adjust model drafts

The AI Companion enables designers and process owners to create and refine process models through natural conversation. Requirements can be clarified iteratively and adjustments made along the way. You can also request process checks or improvement suggestions, and the AI Companion will provide recommendations to help adjusting your model.

All active search filters are now displayed prominently in Enterprise Search, including content type, source/database, country, role, location, and “My Content” filters. Users can quickly see, understand, and adjust every filter applied, making it easier to broaden or refine search results at any time.

2026.Q2 Simulation Deliver Leftovers and Initial Feedback Define Working hours and working days

Plan simulations that reflect how your business really works. With configurable working days and working hours in ARIS Simulation, you can define when resources are actually available (e.g., Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00, excluding weekends or specific days). This makes throughput times, waiting times, and bottlenecks in your simulation results far more realistic and helps you evaluate scenarios like extended shifts, weekend work, or regional calendars before changing real-world operations.

2026.Q3 Automation - Process Workflows & Process Governance Validity Management for Models and Documents with Flows Schedule a flow

Process owners need recurring governance activities (e.g., lifecycle reviews and validations) to run reliably on time, without depending on manual reminders or ad-hoc follow-ups. ARIS Flows can schedule timer-based triggers (monthly, quarterly, annually, or rule-based like “first Monday of the quarter”) to automatically launch the right review or validation workflow, reducing compliance risk and governance overhead.
